Lending platform
The core product and CRM of a lending platform: how a loan moves from application to repayment, what the customer is offered on the way, and who is told what, and when.
01 · The problem
A loan is a chain of steps, and every step has rules
An application is checked, approved, signed, paid out and repaid. If those rules are scattered around the code, a step can be skipped and money can move too early.
The business also wanted bigger loans, a “no” that isn’t a dead end, and a collection agency that sees only what it should.
02 · What I built
What I built
Loan upsell system
Designed and launched it. The average loan size grew by 24%.
See how it works
The average loan grew by a quarter.
IllustrativeIndex: the average loan before the upsell = 100.
Status system
A state machine on Clean Architecture that moves different entities through multi-step flows with branching logic.
See how it works
A loan can only move along the arrows.
IllustrativeEvery arrow has a rule: no pay-out before approval and signature.
Deferred notifications
So we can tell a customer about a rejection and point them to partner offers later.
Debt collection integration
Reworked it so the agency only receives the data it is allowed to see.
Payments
Connected 2 payment providers (PSP).
